Serving up
a new way
to play tennis

We worked with WeTennis to create a competitor tracking and social networking app for amateur Tennis players.
How’d we do.
Challenge
Make organising tennis easier and give amateur tennis access to the same competitive statistics as the pro circuit.

Design a cross-platform user experience for mobile which works both before the game and on the court.

The tight-for-time team wanted a forward-thinking agency partner that could bring their vision to life and keep it there, under top security. After two unsuccessful website versions prior to the partnership, they needed to hit this one out of the park. We gave them a different take on the agency model, working in an agile way with them to develop the partnership as they gathered internal, user and investor feedback.

Landing the first serve.
With a new mobile app, onboarding is what separates an app that never gets used from something that becomes part of the user’s everyday life. We created an illustrated onboarding process, which walked the users through all of the core features of WeTennis.

After each game you play, you record the results in WeTennis to update your ranking and any leaderboards you are apart of.

Connect with other players
WeTennis allows tennis players to discover new players and clubs. Each club or court has their very own leaderboard which can be filtered by gender, skill level, and age.
Be the best you can be.
Each player on WeTennis has their own personal profile to track their history of play, run of form and achievements.
Head to head.
WeTennis allows two players who are connected as friends to compare their scores and statistics with one another. So you’ll always know who’s got the bragging rights.
